Current and prospective small business owners will be able to meet with local organizations to learn about resources for starting and growing a business, such as loan and financial assistance programs, opportunities for federal grants and contracts, and support for rural and women-, veteran-, and minority-owned businesses. Attendees will include the SBA Portland District, Washington SBDC, SCORE, and more.

Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez’s team always stands ready to support Southwest Washington small business owners who need help with a federal agency. Those in need of assistance are encouraged to reach out online, by phone at (360) 695-6292, or in person at her Vancouver or Kelso offices.

Residents of Washington’s Third District will be able to walk in to get assistance with federal agencies like the VA, IRS, and State Department.

Visitors can enter through the administrative entrance and park in the lot or along the street.

Southwest Washington high school students and their families will be able to learn more about pursuing a career in our nation’s Armed Forces and meet with representatives from the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies.

Beginning May 15, 2024, high school juniors, or anyone 17-22 years of age residing in Washington’s Third District, will be able to apply for a service academy nomination from Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez. Completed applications must be submitted by November 12, 2024 and applicants will be scheduled for interviews shortly after.

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez welcomes you to join the Veterans Career and Resource Fair at the Clark College Veterans Center of Excellence.

At the fair, Southwest Washington veterans and their families will be able to meet with local organizations and employers, learn about employment opportunities, and get support with veterans’ benefits.

Veterans are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).

Veterans service organizations and employers who would like to request a table at the event may do so through this online form.
