WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) held a Veterans Career and Resource Fair at the Clark College Veterans Center of Excellence (VCOE).
More than 200 attendees and 55 veterans service organizations, employers, and other vendors were present at the fair.
At the event, Southwest Washington veterans and their families were able to meet with local organizations and employers, learn about employment opportunities, and get support with veterans benefits.
“It’s our responsibility to ensure our nation’s heroes are well-supported after returning home,” said Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez. “I’m so glad we could help connect Southwest Washington veterans and their families to the resources, jobs, and benefits they deserve. I sincerely appreciate all the veterans who stopped by this event, as well as Clark College and community organizations who joined together to support our local heroes.”
