Gluesenkamp Perez To Hold Information Session on USDA Rural Development Grant Opportunities

Last week, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) announced she will be holding a virtual information session on USDA Rural Development grant opportunities. Residents, local leaders, nonprofits, producers, and business owners in Washington’s Third District will be able to hear from representatives from the USDA and the Congresswoman’s team about the federal grant application process, followed by a question and answer session.
Those who would like to receive a link to participate in the information session this Wednesday at 2 p.m. should RSVP using this form.
“A common refrain I hear meeting with folks across Southwest Washington is that accessing federal grant funding is just too difficult, especially for small and rural communities and businesses,” said Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez. “While I work on legislation to level the playing field, cut red tape, and make it easier to apply for federal grants – hosting information sessions like these is a way I can directly bring helpful resources to our community.”
Last year, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez introduced the bipartisan Streamlining Federal Grants Act to standardize grant administration and make it easier for communities and organizations to apply for grants.
Those looking to stay up-to-date with funding opportunities can subscribe to Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez’s grants newsletter, and she has more resources on her website.
