Gluesenkamp Perez to Host Veterans Career and Resource Fair at Clark College
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) announced she will be hosting a Veterans Career and Resource Fair at the Clark College Veterans Center of Excellence (VCOE).
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clark College’s Gaiser Hall, located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, WA 98663.
At the fair, Southwest Washington veterans and their families will be able to meet with local organizations and employers, learn about employment opportunities, and get support with veterans’ benefits. Veterans are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
Veterans service organizations and employers who would like to request a table at the event may do so through this online form.
“It’s our responsibility to ensure our nation’s heroes are well-supported after returning home,” said Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez. “The Veterans Career and Resource Fair will help ensure our Southwest Washington veterans and their families can access the resources, jobs, and benefits they deserve. I’m grateful for the support of Clark College, as well as for all the community organizations who will be able to join us in supporting our local heroes.”
Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez’s team always stands ready to support Southwest Washington veterans who need help with a federal agency. Those in need of immediate assistance are encouraged to reach out online, by phone, or in person.
