Today, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) released the below statement ahead of the State of the Union Address:

“There’s so much more that unites us than divides us, and the American people deserve to hear a message of bipartisanship and unity during tonight’s speech.

“We need to be expanding access to trade and technical education to revitalize the American workforce. We need to be passing right-to-repair legislation to make sure that we can fix and maintain our own stuff. We need to be supporting small businesses and creating jobs.

We can only make progress if we work together, and I hope this speech serves as a reminder of that and provides us a pathway to deliver for our communities in the year to come.”
