Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez Named to House Small Business Committee Leadership

Today, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) was named Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Rural Development, Energy, and Supply Chains.

The Subcommittee will work on legislation to boost small businesses’ competitiveness in the global marketplace, increase energy independence, and assess and fix supply chain disruptions.

“As someone who lives in rural America and founded a small business, I’m excited to help lead our work on the Subcommittee to support small business owners in Southwest Washington and across the country,” said Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez. “This leadership position will ensure that the needs of Southwest Washington’s small business community are front and center, and I’d like to thank my colleagues for trusting me with this opportunity.”

Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez will also serve on the House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations and the House Agriculture Committee in the 118th Congress.
